Art Pro Finland
Art Pro Finland is a resource bank to helps people involved in the arts with their academic and employment-related efforts. The website was produced and is maintained by the University of the Arts Helsinki.
Art Pro Finland includes information, guidelines, and learning materials related to arts studies, research, and employment in the arts, as well as specialist glossaries in three languages: English, Finnish, and Swedish.
The resource bank is targeted at students and teachers in the arts and culture sector as well as individuals considering entering or already working in the arts field as artists or employees of arts organizations.
The Art Pro Finland resource bank helps people working in the arts and culture sector to identify, develop, and verbalise their competence. The site can also be useful for people of other sectors by providing insights into the field of arts and culture.
Art Pro will be released in phases in the course of 2024. Thereafter, the content will be expanded and updated as necessary. The content has been produced by the Art Pro Finland editorial board as well as numerous experts working in the Finnish arts and culture sector, Finnish arts organizations, and the University of the Arts Helsinki.
A project was made possible with the Talent Boost funding awarded by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture in 2023-2024.
